Our charging stations feature industrial‑grade 3‑in‑1 braided cables (Micro‑USB, Lightning, USB‑C) with PD 20W fast charging, powering devices from 1% to 50% in just 30 minutes and supporting 99% of smartphones. Each cable is built from wear‑resistant materials for long‑term durability and quick, hassle‑free replacement. The unit includes a 600×1024 resolution display, supports English, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese, and operates on AC 100–240V (50–60Hz). Dimensions measure 41×65×18 cm for lockers only, or 50×150×50 cm with the stand. For maximum privacy and security, all ports use data‑blocker, charge‑only cables, ensuring the station cannot access or store any device data.

1. Scan your card to pay
2. Click Charge button on screen
3. Select desired bay
4. Enter your unique 4 digit code and press tick
5. Re-enter your 4 digit code and press tick
6. The selected bay will open
7. Plug in your device
8. Close the door and happy charging
To retrieve
1. Tap retrieve button on screen
2. Select your bay
3. Enter your 4 digit code and press tick
4. Unplug and retrieve your device
5. Close the locker box door

The Juicebox Story
Juicebox was born from a feeling we all know too well: that sinking panic when your phone hits 1% at the worst possible moment. Whether it was being out with friends, at a restaurant, in a club, or waiting for an Uber after a long night — we kept finding ourselves in situations where a dead battery meant stress, inconvenience, or even danger.
And then came the embarrassment. Asking a bartender, a waiter, a receptionist, or even a stranger, “Can you please charge my phone?” Handing over your device and hoping it doesn’t get lost, stolen, or forgotten. Trying to enjoy yourself but constantly worrying about your phone behind the counter.
So we asked the question that changed everything: Why does South Africa not have public charging stations?
In countries around the world, secure mobile charging is a standard part of modern life. But here at home, people were still juggling power banks, begging for plugs, or cutting nights short because their battery couldn’t keep up. Juicebox set out to fix that.
